School Break Camps
Our School Break Social Skills Camp is a Social City program offered when schools are closed. With a focus on fun and engagement, your child will have the opportunity to learn and practice social skills while making new friends!
Who are camps for?
School Break Social Skills Camps are available for children ages 3-10 and grouped accordingly.
Where do camps take place?
We offer camps at two locations: Brooklyn (163 Pacific Street) and the Upper West Side (ZPlay School at 211 W 80th St).
How are camps structured?
Each camp will target a variety of social skills topics through explicit (i.e. direct instruction, modeling, role-playing, etc.) and embedded (i.e. integrated into collaborative activities and interactive games) instruction. Topics include initiating conversation, reading and responding to non-verbal language cues, active listening, flexibility, self-confidence, etc. within naturally occurring situations.
